'Instruction, Coaching, Development'
'Taking you from struggling artist to
working industry professional'
I don't limit my coaching to musicians at all. I work with people in all businesses, spirituality, relationships and work/life balance. To sum it up:
I help people create a strategic plan to eliminate the doubt and anxiety that prevents them from living the life they dream of. When we make these plans alone it can seem overwhelming. That is where I come in. I can help you break up big, impossible-seeming goals into smaller, realistic ones that aren't hard to accomplish at all. Imagine trying to write a book. It may sound like a daunting task. But if you take it one chapter at a time, it’s not so bad. Life goals are like that. Before you know it, mountains will have been moved. Best of all, I can help you do this faster, easier, and with a support system that you wouldn't have on your own. It’s what I do.
What the perfect client understands...
A couple of the things that I need my clients to understand ...
*There is no such thing as an overnight success.
*Success doesn't happen by accident
*Becoming successful is usually much harder than people realize but if it's what they are meant to be doing, it's extremely rewarding too.
*Also, if you are doing this because you are obsessed with the idea of a glamorous life, oodles of money or a great way to meet cute girls or hot guys, then I probably shouldn't be your coach.
Sometimes a big dose of confidence is all that is needed for someone to be able to make the leap from aspiring musician to actual professional musician. Whether it's being able to handle working a crowd or working the room or selling and promoting their own merch, it really takes a lot of self esteem.
Others have large amounts of stage fright. It may sound ridiculous to be afraid of the thing you want most but it is more common than you'd think. However, it's really easy to get a hold of even though it seems really scary.
Everyone else sort of falls in the "a little bit of this, a little bit of that" column. Most of us have limiting beliefs; myths that we have bought into hook, line a sinker. We know we have talent but we aren't sure how to use it to get from where we are to where we need to be.
And there are, of course, a thousand other possible snags and snares. Working with someone like me won't remove all the work but it will relieve you of untold struggle and strife and countless sleepless nights. That's why I give free sessions to see if we are even a good fit. Mostly people don't realize that a career in the performing arts is an actual job. It's hard. No matter how good you may be.
The visual below is wonderful. It really tells the whole story of success.
